We have been in the industry for over 75 years and decided to “dabble” in some fun marketing and some smaller bags to get a little closer to the people who eat this delicious stuff….YOU!

THE CHUBBY QUAIL LOGO

Our logo is an updated and inspired version from our main business. Its well known in other parts of the world…super cool! So we thought why not bulk the quail up a bit (give him a lil’ belly) and slap some fun color in there to give us the final product. Isn’t he just the cutest?!

THE CHUBBY QUAIL HAS A NAME?

YUP! And his name is George! Named after our great, great grandfather George Sr., who started this amazing family business. Its an ode to him, and an ode to all his hard work! You will see lots of content for George, The Chubby Quail.

WHY CALL IT CHUBBY QUAIL? Isn’t that offensive?

When this fun project all began we knew we wanted to incorporate our old logo somehow. So we stared at this quail for HOURSSSSSS & DAYSSS and threw out hundreds and hundreds of name combinations. Nothing fit and nothing was fun either. Until finally, one day, we heard Chubby Quail. Everyone’s ears perked up and it was like a light switch had went off! THAT WAS IT! Something fun something exciting and different! Just what we wanted to show case. We aren’t just the normal peas, lentils and chickpeas you see on the shelf. WE ARE BETTER.
